MEET LARISHA Y. WARNER
Larisha Y. Warner is a native of Prince George’s County suburb outside of Washington, DC. Larisha is a true example and witness of her favorite biblical scripture Romans 8:28 “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. In October 2012, she fully received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior since then her life has changed for the better. Her life journey has endured countless hurdles and trials including childhood sexual abuse/molestation yet she still remains optimistic and has always credited God for leading and seeing her through it all. One late night in October 2012, God blessed her with the ministry gift of poetry. Prior to that night, she had never written a poem before and that answered prayer serves as the cornerstone of her ministry Divinely Destined (founded in October 2017), her career aspirations, and personal goals.
Larisha has boldly and truthfully shared her life journey, challenges and relationship with God to inspire and encourage individuals at various open mics, church anniversaries, prayer breakfasts, and conferences across the Washington, DC area for the past six years. Currently, she is a member of The House of Healing DMV, under the leadership of Pastors Joseph and LaQuisha Brown. Over the years, she has actively served in various ministries to build up God's kingdom including more recently serving as a Board of Directors for The Journey to Purity a non-profit organization. Larisha praises God for turning her pain into her life’s purpose and leading her to write The Journey to Freedom, Healing, and Wholeness which is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Nobles and Books-A-Million.
Larisha holds degrees and professional certificates in African-American Studies/Public Policy, Business Management/Marketing and Project Management from the University of Maryland-College Park, University of Maryland-University College, and George Washington University. Currently, she is currently pursing a second Master's degree in Human Services/Life Coaching at Liberty University. As Larisha continues on her Christian journey, she hopes that God will continue to allow her to share her testimony with the masses while drawing people closer to Him.

One goal that I plan to accomplish in 2019: Learn how to swim (I began the journey to learning how to swim about four years ago. I missed one lesson and when I returned I had to jump in 9ft of water. I nervously went in and came back up just fine however, once the session was over I never returned back to complete my lessons). I recently made up my mind that 2019 would be the year that I would conquer this goal once and for all.
